VolleyCam is designed to operate locally on your Apple devices. VolleyCam does not collect data on developer-operated servers, sell or rent personal data, or use data for advertising or tracking.
VolleyCam does not use advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, tracking technologies, or developer-operated cloud services. No account is required for the core app experience. Connecting a YouTube account is optional and is used only when the user chooses YouTube Live Streaming.
VolleyCam does not collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, advertising identifier, contacts, browsing history, search history, health information, or other personal information on developer-operated servers.
VolleyCam does not upload your photos, recordings, match footage, team names, tournament names, scores, rally tags, metadata, or usage history to the developer. When YouTube Live is used, the live camera video, microphone audio, visible scoreboard content, selected YouTube channel identifier/title, and user-entered broadcast details are transmitted to Google/YouTube for the user’s selected broadcast.
VolleyCam does not track you across apps or websites and does not create advertising or behavioral profiles.
VolleyCam may store app settings and volleyball-related information locally on your device, such as team names, tournament names, scores, set information, match metadata, rally timing, heart tags, favorite status, and display preferences.
Recordings and exported rally clips are stored on your device and, when you choose, in your Apple Photos library. This information remains under your control and is not accessible to the VolleyCam developer.
Data exchanged between a Camera device and a Remote device is used only to provide the local match workflow, such as recording controls, score updates, camera previews, connection status, and displacement warnings.
VolleyCam requests only the device permissions needed for its features:
Camera: to record volleyball matches and provide camera previews.
Microphone: to include audio with video recordings.
Photos: to save recordings and exported clips, and to access media that you deliberately select for VolleyCam workflows.
Local Network: to connect the Camera and Remote devices directly using Apple-provided local networking technology.
Motion: to detect meaningful camera or tripod movement during recording.
Network access: to authenticate with Google, manage the user’s YouTube live broadcasts, and publish the user-selected camera and microphone feed over secure RTMPS when YouTube Live is active.
You can manage these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working.
VolleyCam uses Apple-provided local device-to-device networking to connect the Camera and Remote devices. Core recording and remote-control functions do not require a VolleyCam cloud account or developer-operated server.
Match controls, score updates, camera previews, and displacement events are exchanged only as needed between the devices participating in the active session. VolleyCam does not route this information through developer-operated servers.
VolleyCam may offer optional consumable tips through Apple’s In-App Purchase system. Tips are voluntary, do not unlock features, and do not change how VolleyCam works.
Apple processes payment and account information for In-App Purchases. VolleyCam does not receive or store your payment-card information. VolleyCam does not transmit or retain purchase information on developer-operated servers.
Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy and terms.
VolleyCam does not include third-party advertising, analytics, tracking, or data-broker services.
VolleyCam relies on Apple system services, such as iOS permissions, Photos, StoreKit, local networking, and motion frameworks. Information processed by Apple is governed by Apple’s privacy practices.
YouTube Live is an optional Google service. If enabled, VolleyCam uses Google OAuth and the YouTube Data/Live Streaming APIs to display the selected channel, list or create live broadcasts, bind an ingestion stream, and send the live video/audio feed to YouTube. Google processes this information under Google’s Privacy Policy, Google API Services User Data Policy, YouTube Terms of Service, and the user’s YouTube settings.
VolleyCam requests the YouTube authorization scope needed to view and manage the user’s YouTube content and live broadcasts. VolleyCam never asks for or receives the user’s Google password. Account authorization tokens and manual RTMPS stream keys are stored in the iOS Keychain and are not sent to the VolleyCam developer or a paired Remote device.
Because VolleyCam does not collect data on developer-operated servers, the developer does not retain a server-side copy of your information.
Local app data remains on your device until you delete it through the app, remove the app, erase the device, or otherwise manage it through iOS. Videos and clips saved to Apple Photos may remain in Photos after VolleyCam is deleted and must be removed separately through the Photos app.
Choosing Sign Out in VolleyCam requests revocation of the Google authorization token and deletes the local OAuth token. Choosing Forget Stream Key deletes the locally stored manual key. Broadcasts and recordings already stored by YouTube are controlled through YouTube Studio or Google Account controls and are not deleted when VolleyCam is removed.
The VolleyCam developer cannot access, recover, or delete content stored only on your device or in your personal Apple Photos library.
VolleyCam does not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults. Because no personal information is collected by the developer, VolleyCam does not create profiles of children or use children’s information for advertising or tracking.
Parents, guardians, coaches, schools, clubs, and event organizers are responsible for obtaining any permissions or consents required before recording or sharing images or videos of minors.
VolleyCam reduces privacy risk by keeping core match data and media on the user’s devices rather than collecting it on developer-operated servers.
You are responsible for protecting access to your devices, Apple Account, Photos library, and exported media. Use device passcodes and other Apple security features appropriate for your circumstances.
VolleyCam does not transfer personal data to the developer or to developer-operated servers in another country.
Apple services used by the app may process information under Apple’s own terms and privacy practices. If YouTube Live is used, Google may process the connected account and broadcast data in countries where Google operates, under Google’s published terms and privacy practices.
This policy may be updated if VolleyCam’s features or privacy practices change. The revised policy will display a new “Last Updated” date.
If a future version changes account access, analytics, advertising, cloud storage, server-side processing, or other data practices, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.
